Pan-Fried Steamed Buns 煎饅頭
Ingredients
Makes 4 to 6 servings
- 6 steamed buns, preferably cold buns steamed the day before
- vegetable oil
- salt to taste
Method
- Cut the buns into 1/2" slices.
- Heat a large skillet over medium low heat, add the oil and pan fry the buns.
- Fry until both sides of the bun turn golden and puffed.
- Sprinkle some salt and serve immediately.
