Pan-Fried Steamed Buns 煎饅頭




Ingredients
Makes 4 to 6 servings

  • 6 steamed buns, preferably cold buns steamed the day before
  • vegetable oil
  • salt to taste


Method
  1. Cut the buns into 1/2" slices.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium low heat, add the oil and pan fry the buns.
  3. Fry until both sides of the bun turn golden and puffed.
  4. Sprinkle some salt and serve immediately.
