Black Sweet Rice 흑미찹쌀
Ingredients
Makes 2 to 3 servings
- 1 cup short grain rice
- 1/3 black rice
- 2 cups water
- 20 pieces red beans (optional)
Method
- Soak the black sweet rice and red beans overnight before cooking.
- Combine the soaked black sweet rice, red beans and short grain rice together.
- Wash and drain a few times and put the mixed rice in a 2.5qt or larger pot.
- Add the water into the pot, and bring to a boil over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Simmer the rice over low heat for another 10 minutes.
- Stir the rice with a spoon and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
