Belgian Waffles 鬆餅
Ingredients
Makes 10 waffles
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- maple syrup for serving
Method
- Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat egg yolks lightly, and add milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add wet mixture to dry mixture, and whisk to combine.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a preheated waffle iron and bake until golden brown.
- Serve it immediately with syrup.
