Belgian Waffles 鬆餅



Ingredients
Makes 10 waffles

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • maple syrup for serving


Method

  1. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, beat egg yolks lightly, and add milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Add wet mixture to dry mixture, and whisk to combine.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into a preheated waffle iron and bake until golden brown.
  6. Serve it immediately with syrup.
