Ginger Tea 薑茶






Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ginger, sliced
  • 5 cups water
  • brown sugar to taste
  • honey to taste


Method

1. Wash, peel and slice the ginger.
2. Add the sliced ginger, water in a pot, and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce to a simmer for about 25 minutes.
4. Strain the ginger in a colander.
5. Serve the ginger tea hot, add brown sugar or honey to your taste.


Ginger tea is a great home remedy to ward off colds and flu. It also eases nausea and fights indigestion, so you can never go wrong with drinking a cup of ginger tea.
